We sell products of excellent quality for discerning soapmakers and other crafters. These products are from source supplies of 99% purity. There is no need to go elsewhere or to pay more. However, we do not sell "pharmaceutical" grade chemicals, as their extreme ultra-purity is well beyond that recognized as necessary and wholesome for craft or cosmetic purposes. Why would any user of soapmaking supplies seek products labelled as "...normally used in pharmaceutical applications"? "Pharmaceutical" grade chemicals are mainly only necessary in the pharmaceutical industry, in the semiconductor industry......and in the making of illegal drugs. We take our responsibility as a seller of hydroxide chemicals seriously. We do not condone the use of our products in the manufacture of illegal drugs! For this reason, we will not conduct untraceable sales outside of our regular online checkout system; nor will we illegally ship caustics (NaOH, KOH) via the US mail or to post office boxes, thereby avoiding traceability as some other online sellers have done.
