without the uncertainties of "cooking" your own soap base..
We've Done It For You!

Each different SBM Liquid Soap Base is made from one oil type,
carefully calculated and prepared from our own SBM soapmaking oils.
Measure and mix SBM Liquid Soap Bases in proportions according to
your own formula, then add hot water according to our Dilution Chart.
Make clear liquid soap with the oils and concentration you want.
Diluted soap will be at about 10 to 10.5 PH alkalinity and should
then be 'neutralized' to reduce PH for maximum mildness.
Use our SBM Borax Neutralizer Solution to reduce
alkalinity for maximum mildness. Test diluted soap
for proper PH with our Phenol P test solution.

Adds excellent solubility, clarity and emollience to liquid soap formulas. High solubility helps prevent "gumming up" of pump dispensers. A 'soft oil' liquid soap base. Adds great emollience to liquid soap formulas. Adds slippery feel. Small, close lather. High proportions of olive may produce an oily feel. Olive in your liquid soap formula will raise the minimum PH level (clouding point) of your diluted soap somewhat.
